Iris Scherr '25 | they/them

Iris Scherr was an author at seven. Since then, they have discovered their passion for poetry and storytelling. Iris enjoys making their own clothes, collecting keychains, and watching movies with their friends. Their work can be found in previous issues of Collegian and the lickity~split, a Twitter magazine. Iris always loves a good book, but especially ones with disabled representation (their Goodreads name is under “Iris Scherr” if you want book recommendations)! They have experience writing for The Pegasus and a smidge under The Elm. Iris still finds themselves going back to the stories they wrote all those years ago, trying to recreate it from the source of the same creativity. They hope to strive for a community at Collegian — one where everyone feels accepted and invited.
